What is your current position, and how many years have you been a dean?
Assistant Dean for Student Services at Auburn University, two years.

What advice would you give new deans?
As a newer dean, having a strong mentor can be really impactful.

What would you say is your most meaningful contribution as dean?
I worked in Student Services for 13 years so I am trying to find the overlap between recruitment and academic advising.

When you think about the liberal arts, what gives you a sense of hope?
I think institutions are finding it more important that the liberal arts be written into every discipline, it teaches the transferable skills that are needed in every career.

Why are you a member of CCAS?
I am brand new and my institution is already a member.

What might someone be surprised to know about you?
I’m an avid runner and preparing to run a marathon.

What are you currently reading?
I’m taking a Multivariate Statistical Analysis class so I’m not reading anything right now.
